You may be familiar with the controversial youtuber Kevin Samuels, a self-described ‘Professional Image Consultant’. In the last few years, he has built a large following on social media by giving dating advice, particularly on his YouTube and Instagram pages. He especially rose to prominence when viral clips of his ‘Average at Best‘ video was shared across the globe. Earlier this year, he had interviews with Nicki Minaj and Future.

Samuels is known for his harsh tone, sometimes perceived to be denigrating to women, black women in particular. His recent controversy was sparked in a video released last week, in which he claims women unmarried by the age of 35 are considered “leftover women”. His remarks: “If you live to 35 and you’re not married, you’re a leftover. You’re leftover. . Men know you may have a problem. Whether you want to hear it or not, I’ll go with you. I’m telling you the truth you don’t want to hear.”

However, news is now circulating that he passed away earlier today from cardiac arrest. Although this has not been officially confirmed, some content creators claim to have spoken with close Samuels’ close family and have indeed confirmed that Kevin Samuels died. Notable youtubers Lapeef JR and Anton Daniels are such content creators.

Twice divorced, Kevin Samuels, 56, is definitely a controversial figure. To some, he’s a misogynistic, women hater. To others, he stands as a beacon of truth, who brings barbershop conversions to the public square. Regardless, he will certainly be missed by many.
