Superstar singer Wizkid has added another award to his shelf. The multiple award winner has bagged the award for the Best African Act in this year’s edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards.

BigWiz came out as the winner in the stiff category, beating the likes of Tems, Diamond Platnumz, Amaarae, and Focalistic to get the award.

The winner was announced on MTV’s IG handle. They wrote,
“HUGE congratulations to BIG WIZ @wizkidayo for winning Best African Act! From Lagos to the world #MTVEMA #StarBoyHQ.”

Wizkid who just finished his Made in Lagos U.S. tour, is getting ready for his Canadian tour, slated for January 2022
